Once on This Island

Falcon Theater and Drama Instructor Jeanette Ringenberg presented Once on This Island by Lynn Ahrens on Thursday, May 1 at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 3 at 2:00 and 6:30 p.m.

Once on This Island is a one-act musical based on the 1985 novel My Love, My Love; or The Peasant Girl by Rosa Guy. The story follows a peasant girl on a tropical island that uses the power of love to bring together people of different social classes.

Junior Coral Beck earned the distinguished lead role of ‘Ti Moune’, the focus of the story and who is featured both in solo songs and dance.

Senior Alex Mock will play the lead male role of ‘Daniel’.
