Parking spot fundraiser brightens senior lot
As the new school year begins, the senior class is holding fundraisers to recover from the money lost during the pandemic. Covid-19 previously left their freshman and sophomore year in ruins by canceling almost everything and forcing everyone to go virtual.
Seniors painted their fundraiser parking spots on Saturday, September 24. The fundraiser is an activity for the seniors that lets them be creative and maybe show off some talents that nobody knew they had.
“This is the 2nd year of the fundraiser, and it’s a fun way for people to express their personality while also providing for the senior class,” senior class sponsor Ms. Bennis said.
The seniors have been creative with their parking spots by making designs such as logos of the colleges of their choice, license plate designs, stick figure paintings, smiley faces, vibrant, colorful designs, and ideas that might not have been thought of before.
According to senior Amelia Keck, she was so excited to support her class in a creative way. She is excited to have a great prom and hopes that there are more exciting fundraising opportunities throughout the year.
