Humans of CHS: May 2022 Edition

“Hi, my name is Kaylin Morse and I am a senior at Cox High School! Something that I’m passionate about is Leadership Workshop. My freshman year I decided to go to Workshop as a delegate, and had such a great time. I made unforgettable memories and met a lot of new people; most of which I wouldn’t have known if it weren’t for Workshop. Although it was cancelled my sophomore year due to Covid, I decided to apply for staff the following year because I knew how much of a legacy it is here at Cox. After wrestling with many Covid restriction last year, we held Workshop at Cox instead of Triple R Ranch, where it has been since 1995. Despite the adverse situation, our staff stepped up and made the weekend amazing. As co-director of Leadership Workshop this year, I was shown the reason why its legacy at Cox house is so special. In just one weekend, a student can be transformed into a completely different person with new skills about being a confident leader. It’s an inexplicable feeling being able to experience these changes first-hand. I hope that Leadership Workshop continues to impact the lives of underclass men, and I’m glad that I get to now pass the torch to next years directors!” -senior Kaylin Morse
