Humans of CHS: March 2022 Edition 2.0

“Four years of high school means that there are only four seasons of lacrosse. Since the age of three, sports have been a stronghold in my life. Being on the lacrosse team since my freshman year and golf team since my junior year, I have experienced memories and friendships that would be unattainable anywhere else. My favorite memory would have to be the comeback win against Grassfield High School that put us in the championship game. The seniors on the team that year inspired me to be the best version of myself and uphold the legacy of the team. After completing my final golf season in the fall, I have been looking forward upcoming lacrosse season that starts on March 28th. As a captain for the second year in a row, I hope to lead us to a state championship and bring some hardware home to Cox High School. None of these opportunities would be possible without the overwhelming support from the school. I am beyond thankful to attend a school that puts student involvement first.”  – senior Griffin Butt
