Falcon Stage Company (FSC), a class created through the school’s Fine Arts/ Theater department once again made it to the Virginia High School League’s (VHSL) regional championship after two lost years on stage due to COVID.

The One-Act play entered by FSC this year entitled The Internet Is a Distract–OH LOOK, A KITTEN! won 2nd place last weekend in the VHSL regional finals against other high school theater programs from around the state.

According to Theater teacher Michelle Machay, FSC was only one point away from placing first, but they were able to bring home a trophy anyway.

A first place win would have sent the group to the VHSL state championship in the One-Act play category.
