Spring Break is often a time for students and their families to relax, unwind, and hopefully, enjoy warm weather. After all, spring is a time of renewal, when flowers bloom and life is restored.

This Spring Break, however, the Falcon community lost one of their own when a man, allegedly demanding drugs, shot and killed Beach Pharmacy owner David Kilgore on Laskin Road.

Kilgore was not simply a local pharmacist though. He was also the parent of two of the school’s graduates, Ashley Kilgore Baum (2010) and Andrew Kilgore (2013).

Thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Kilgore family; forever in our hearts.
