National Library Week: continued sustainability

As National Library Week continued, students were introduced to sustainable living advocate Andrea Huehnerhoff of the New Earth Farm and Learning Garden.

One of Huehnerhoff’s many responsibilties at New Earth Farm includes educating society about the importance of conserving the quality of our food and soil.  She spoke to students today about the benefits of non-chemical farming as a means to conserve and protect the environment.

Huehnerhoff also stressed the necessity of probiotics, as well as preserving fresh produce.
