National artists join “Something in the Water”
The upcoming ‘Something In The Water Festival’ created by Virginia Beach native, Pharrell Williams, is a three day event taking place the weekend of April 26, 27, and 28 on the Oceanfront boardwalk, starting at 1st street. Other events will take place at the convention center on 19th street.
Williams founded this event to alter the negative connotation that surround the annual ‘Beach Week’ event, and turn it into a fun, safe, environment for returning college students and locals.
According to Pharrell Williams’ Instagram quote, “the level of talent and artistry that vibrates in Virginia Beach is magical. They say there’s ‘something in the water’.”
