Humans of CHS: December 2018 Edition

“After college, I’m going to be pursuing my dream and furthering my education studying forensics to later work for the Federal Bureau of Investigations. I will be first joining the military to gain an additional skill set that I believe will assist me through this transition.Throughout high school, I have received the opportunity to take classes that will help me achieve this goal such as Psychology and Sociology, that will hopefully afford me the opportunity or East Carolina University in the fall of 2019. During the course of my life, I have dealt with family troubles and often we were never left closure on a situation, or were given any information as to why or how the event happened. The most meaningful part of the job would be to give the affected families closure. Forensics to me is not just about the evidence, its also about finding out why criminals do what they do, including the psychology aspect of knowing why people want to hurt or how we could prevent this in the future. While working for the Federal Bureau of Investigations, I plan to implement a system that helps prevent criminals from their wrongdoings. It will be extremely rewarding to help other families around the world while learning about the world’s most dangerous criminals every day. While it will be difficult in some aspects such as boot camp and training, I am always up for a challenge.”
