Senior lacrosse player Jason Boynewicz is currently a semi-finalist in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Competition. The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) chooses students based on their PSAT/NMSQT score report including the Reading, Writing and Language tests.

NMSC released the names of 16,000 students around the country who were named as semi-finalists in mid-September.  These students are given the opportunity to advance in the competition in stages throughout the school year.

“I’m very honored and proud that I received this prestigious award, not only did I appreciate it, but I loved seeing the comradely between my classmates as we all shared in celebration, ” Boynewicz said.
