Talon staff hustles to complete yearbook

The Talon yearbook staff has been hard at work to make the final Friday, April 13 deadline, and to stick with this year’s chosen theme “Where Forever Begins.”

Senior Megan Brunick is currently a yearbook staff Editor-in-Chief, working hand-in-hand with the club sponsor Mrs. Moffett, to finalize the production.

“The best part of working on the yearbook staff is creating a work of art that captures all the memories from this year and of the student body for them to enjoy looking through and revisit in years to come to relive their experience. I love being able to provide that for people to enjoy. The worst part of creating the yearbook is definitely the deadlines because we’re always in a time crunch to get quotes from students and to get all the pages edited,” Brunick said.

This year was more difficult for the staff because they had more challenges to face not seen in years past, such as experiences and staff numbers.

“We have a smaller staff this year, so the editors and upperclassmen have had to step up and do a lot of the work,” Moffett said.

Brunick is proud of her club’s production, as they have worked tirelessly to make this yearbook the best one yet.

“I think this year we focused a lot on the theme by carrying it throughout the book. This year’s theme is “where forever begins.” We also tried to carry the colors and the arrows throughout the book as well,” Brunick said.
