Falcon chorus students teamed up with VB School’s Holiday Connection, an annual event that connects school and community sponsors who help provide a wonderful holiday experience for children in need.

Holiday Connection Chairperson Lisa Lowman reached out to chorus teacher Cyndy Forbes for help again this year due to her students overwhelming response in the past.

Last year, Holiday Connection was able to assist more than 300 children.  In order to keep up the tradition, chorus students began collecting items in early November through mid- December for three young girls, ages 4, 8, and 9, in the VB school system. Items collected included clothes, shoes, toys, food, toiletries, and beauty products.

“We just wanted to be a part of the giving and a great lesson for students to understand the importance of helping those in need at the holidays,” Forbes said.
