Q: Were you surprised that you were nominated? Why?
A: “I was, just because I felt like I was a part of the homecoming parade last year where I was crowned DECA queen. I was also on the ballet last year to win homecoming queen, but I didn’t win. This year I was shocked to be nominated again because I feel they should’ve given someone else the spotlight.”
Q: What is your favorite activity throughout the whole week? Why?
A: “it’s definitely the pep rally. You get to get out of class and people are so funny. It’s very fun, and you get to sit with your friends and laugh at other people while they want to make a fool of themselves. I hope someone streaks to carry on the tradition because our class is the last to have ever seen or heard about it.”
Will Brewer
Q: What is the best thing about being nominated? Why?
A: “Knowing that my peers think about me enough to nominate me for court. My girlfriend, Rachel Marion, is also on the court and there is a chance that we get to win together.”
Q: How would you react if you were to win homecoming king? Why?
A: “I would be pretty excited. I’d probably hug my mom because she’s supporting me and I would fist bump everybody.”
Mark Rogerson
