Team USA Field Hockey, grad Stefanie Fee
Alumnus and 2016 Team USA Olympic Field Hockey player Stefanie Fee will be honored at the school on Thursday, March 18, between the girls and boys varsity soccer games against Kellam HS at the stadium field and then again on Friday, May 19, at 1:30 p.m. in the library, as House Delegate Jason Miyares presents her with Commending Resolution HJ563 as an “expression of the General Assembly’s admiration for her outstanding achievements as a member of Team USA”.
On Thursday evening, former Head Field Hockey coach Julie Swain will honor Fee with the presentation of her #2 Olympic jersey, dedicating it in its showcase, to the school.
Fee was a three sport athlete at the school and graduated in 2008, going on to play field hockey at Duke University. Her motivation, perseverance, and overall drive for success, propelled her to the United States National team, and finally to last year’s summer Olympics in Rio.
