JUNIORS GET READY for Ring Dance.

Ring Dance is an annual, formal event for high school juniors to receive their class rings.

The Class of 2018, Ring Dance will be held at Virginia Wesleyan College in the evening on Saturday, April 1. The night will be filled with dancing and the crowning of a ring dance prince and princess.

For months, the Class of 2018 has been fundraising, planning, and executing the details of the event. The theme this year is “Gold” and will encompass the evening in every aspect, from the lights down to the table cloths.

Tickets are on sale until Friday, March 31 in the cafeteria during every lunch and are $50 each.

Junior Lauren Hillier is one of the many students on the Ring Dance planning committee.

“We’ve been working to plan this dance since last year, and have been putting a lot of time and effort into it,” Hillier said. “We really want to make this a memorable night for everyone.”
