Senior Jordan Williams, chosen for Army All-American East
Representatives from the Army All-American game will be at the school on Wednesday, Oct. 26, and not simply to hand out Army paraphernalia to interested students during lunches.
The Army All-American representatives plan to honor Clemson University bound senior football player Jordan Williams with a jersey from the organization at 2:30 p.m. in the library. Williams was chosen by the Army All-American organization as one of the top high school standouts from around the country to play in the annual Army football game, where East meets West.
According to usarmyallamericanbowl.com, the organization’s selection committee is comprised of 247Sports, All American Sports, and its regional scouting network. Although any high school football player is eligible, selections are based on rank, film, etc.
The game will be held the first week in January in San Antonio, TX, at the Alamo Dome. Williams will play for the East.
“It is a huge honor to be selected to play in this game and to be able to represent my family, myself, and the United States Army,” Williams said. “It is truly a blessing to be able to play with and compete against the nation’s top talent.”
