Seeking a brighter future

As summer approaches, job openings and opportunities have become more available to students.

In an effort to help obtain these opportunities, the school’s guidance department held a career fair today.  Stations were set up throughout the library in order for students to speak with representatives and owners of businesses.  Students were also given contact information which will allow them to receive more information on certain jobs that interest them in the future.

“I think it’s important for kids to look at a variety of options and choices that they may not have thought about previously,” said head librarian Judith Rhea.
