VTfT students take home win

March 14, 2016

Virginia Teachers for Tomorrow (VTfT) students competed in the Educators Rising State Leadership Conference this past weekend at Kellam High School.  The competition was open to any VTfT students in the state who applied.

Senior Emily Staskin placed first in the Job Interview category, while seniors Peter Sterling and Brooke Moore placed third in Educators Rising Recruitment and Marketing.

Moore and Staskin took first place in the competition, taking home the Educators Rising Leadership Award.

Both Moore and Staskin will advance to the national competition to be held in June at Boston University.

“I’m looking forward to competing again on a national level and I’m anxious to see how I’ll perform,” Moore said.
