Future Hampden Sydney tiger: Matt Demasi

Senior Matt Demasi recently committed to Hampden Sydney college to play football this upcoming fall school year. Future tiger Matt will play alongside his brother and former Falcon, Mikey Demasi.
Q: What made you decide that Hampden Sydney was the school for you?
A: “The school has great academics, the football coaches love me, and it is beautiful campus that has many fun activities.”
Q: How does it feel knowing you will be playing football on the field with your brother Mikey?
A: “It’s going to be a lot of fun. You know, steel sharpens steel, so, hopefully we will be able to benefit each other and make the team better.”
Q: Are you nervous knowing you will be playing against bigger, stronger adults?
A: “Well, I’ve always been the smaller one on the field, so I’m pretty used to it, but you just have to run around them.”
Q: What career do you think you will be persuing with going to a school like Hampton Sydney?
A: “Hopefully, marketing or sales for medical equipment.”
