Senior Jake Herslow recently committed to Old Dominion University to play football this upcoming fall.

Q: What made you choose ODU football?

A: “They’re in C-USA, Division I FBS, in college football. I just wanted to play with the big boys.”

Q: How do you feel on attending ODU?

A: ”I feel ODU is a great school athletically and academically, and I’m very excited to go.”

Q: What career do you see yourself pursuing after your college career?

A: ”I would like to major in sports management and be a sports agent.”

Q: How do you feel knowing you will be competing with some of the best nation?

A: “Being one of the best in the area, I feel like I’m going to compete well against them.”

Q: How would you describe your football career here, at Cox high school?

A: “It was awesome. We won a playoff game, and I led the team in receiving yards. I got to show my talent off in our school.”
