Thanksgiving:  Happy hearts, joyful faces, and full bellies.

Keeping the holiday spirit of giving alive, Cox High School Office Manager Wendy Matthis, with the help of numerous clubs and classes within the school are contributing holiday meals to those in need within the school and the community.

Over the past two weeks, Matthis orchestrated the development and distribution of 33 baskets, with the help of students and faculty, for next week’s Thanksgiving dinner.

“There was an overwhelming response and fortunately the response was greater than our need.  It was amazing to see everyone come together to achieve one common goal,” Matthis said.
