A prom show in the snow
December 15, 2015
It may only be December, but the fashion department has already started thinking about prom.
Mrs. Bolling’s Advanced Fashion and Advanced Marketing classes are teaming up with Kellam, First Colonial, and Ocean Lakes High Schools to produce a prom fashion show using dresses provided by Online Formals.
The fashion show will include four scenes and ten models who will represent each school.
Fashion Marketing student models have been practicing after school since late November to make sure the show creates a buzz for prom trends. Marketing students produced the entire show from creating props to developing routines.
“We’re super excited because we get to work with the other high schools. It’s really fun to watch all of the components of a show come together,” Co-head Regan Keen said.
The show will be held at Kellam High School on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. and tickets are $5. Before the show starts, there will be live entertainment, door prizes, and exclusive deals from local vendors.
“We’ve been preparing for this show diligently and it’ll be amazing to see all the hard work pay off! We’re so glad Online Formals collaborated with us for this event,” Co-head Taylor Koontz said.
