Online vs. print textbooks: letters to the editor

I like print textbooks better than online textbooks. Over the years, I have gotten in trouble too many times for relying on an online textbook to help me with my homework, only to have computer problems at home. Teachers get upset when your homework is not done because of computer issues, arguing that you could’ve gone to the library. However, who is going to do that if they have a computer at home? Print textbooks are much more reliable and easier to control and use.

I like print better because you don’t have to worry about remembering your password or username. Also, I learn better when it’s right there, not on a screen.

If I had to pick, I would pick a print textbook, not online one. I like the online textbooks because you can easily find pages and it doesn’t take as long to do your homework. Plus there are many teenagers who don’t have computers and can’t go to the library.
