Taylor Mathews: Take two

Walking through the big wooden doors of the Chorus room, students’ faces gleamed with excitement as they spotted headlining singer/songwriter Taylor Mathews, along with his opening act, Kyle Reynolds. Both artists played at a Choral event recently at the Oceanfront and took time to visit the school the following day.

As Reynolds stepped forward to perform, a hush fell over the overcrowded room. Then, Mathews himself stepped up to the microphone.

Mathews, who won a spot on America’s Got Talent a few years prior, has been touring and promoting his music around the country. This was his second time visiting the school.
