“I’m Mr. Di Nardo and I’ve been teaching here since 2006. Believe it or not, this is my 40th year teaching and I’m probably going to be retired at the end of this year. I brought back the tradition of “I Am Somebody”, which the student body really likes and I really like doing. I think it brings us together nicely as a student body and staff. All of my children went to Cox High School. My two daughters were homecoming queens and I got to escort them, which was the thrill of my life. Both of my sons played football and I was able to coach both of them. I’ve lived the dad’s dream the whole time I’ve been here and it’s been great. I’ve taught ninth grade PE the whole time, although this next semester I’m going to actually teach 10th grade. I’m a new Granddad. I had a grand baby born on January 5th and that is absolutely thrilling. I had a good time with that. My daughter got married this past summer and she got married to a Washington Commander football player. They have been my favorite team since I was 5 years old so it was kind of like good karma that happened.” – P.E. teacher Mr. Di Nardo
