SENIOR NATALIE GEN lived her best life at Leadership Workshop at the end of last school year. She has been looking forward to this year’s workshop, held next spring, where she hopes to influence future leaders.

“I moved from California to Virginia Beach the summer before my sophomore year. I was very nervous because I did not know anyone and the school seemed huge, new, and scary. I knew the only way to become a part of the school, meet people, and have fun was to put myself out there and get involved. I joined the tennis team where I made amazing friends and formed a close bond with the coach. I became a part of SCA’s annual Leadership Workshop staff, and have made memories that I will think about for the rest of my life. Getting involved at Cox is what made me less scared of being new, and more excited for school everyday.” -senior Natalie Gen
