Humans of CHS: April 2022 Edition 2.0

“Hi! My name is Ema Christian and I am a senior at Cox! Something that I am very passionate about is soccer. I have played soccer since I was 3 years old and since then I have played at Beach F.C., Virginia Beach Middle School, and am currently the Varsity Captain at Cox. Over the years, I have not only played, but I’ve also run camps for kids, coached, and everything in between. The most important things that soccer has given me are memories, relationships, and a sense of leadership. My all-time favorite memory from soccer thus far has been assisting Aspen Hood for a game-winning goal against First Colonial High School. After a successful junior year, I am ready to lead the team alongside Sara Twisdale and work to achieve our goals of reaching the regional and state champions. Following this season, I will continue to coach at Beach F.C. and I hope to continue my soccer career by playing club soccer at the University of Tennessee!”  ~senior Ema Christian
