Humans of CHS: March 2021 Edition

“Losing my mom and dad at such a young age has definitely affected my life in many ways, good and bad. It has taught me that life is short and should always be lived to its fullest potential. Never take for granted what you have, even when you think you’ll never lose them sometimes a different path is taken. I also learned that starting over isn’t easy, but you can’t let yourself get stuck in the grief and sadness. Pushing through the pain and sorrow has made me create new memories and let me rebuild my life without my parents. I miss them and wish they were still here but I have learned many life lessons that so many people don’t learn till much later in life. I’ve grown to be more independent and forgiving toward others because of the hardships I’ve faced.” -senior Taylor Thompson
