Humans of CHS: February 2020 Edition

“During my 6th grade year, my mom was involved in a horrible car accident that almost took her away from me. She was in the hospital for around 4 months and my brother and I would visit her everyday. The doctors and nurses would talk to us about what they were doing to help and and what all of the machines they were using did. Her accident inspired me to go into the field of medicine, specifically anesthesia. The accident has been my inspiration for all of my goals and achievements in school and in life. Not only has it led me to volunteer in the Ambulatory Surgery Center to help try and give back to those that helped my mom throughout her recovery.”
