Humans of CHS: January 2019 Edition
As a tribute to the social media blog "Humans of NY, " the Falcon Press staff decided to create a spin-off entitled, " Humans of CHS. " Staff members will roam the halls weekly until they find a " human" with an inspirational bit of advice, unusual story to tell, or who simply wants to chat about life.
“In my opinion, the worst thing about our generation is that we do not communicate well with others. This generation is constantly glued to their cell phones and social media networks. We spend too much time intrigued by these tiny objects that we do not get to experience the true beauty of the world around us. We choose to communicate through texting and face time instead of having a conversation face to face because we have easily adapted to accomplishing everything through our phones. People aren’t always honest over the phone also, and many times there can be complications with scheduling and the way people react to text messages. I believe this generation needs to move away from technology in order to be more efficient and experience life in a better way, otherwise everything will soon be taken over by technology and we wont get the opportunity to build the in-person relationships that we desire and experience nature, and everything else that life has to offer. Put away the cell phone and enjoy your time with friends and family around you. “
