Humans Of CHS: September 2018 Edition

” I have been listening to fifty’s and sixty’s music for years. The upbeat vibes and smoother vocals are so much better than today’s music. I like it more than today’s music because I can’t relate to today’s music as much. Most of the music out today is too vulgar and not always fun to listen to. I first found out about older music through my parents and ever since, it is all I listen to. Not a lot of people tend to appreciate old music and always focus on what’s popular now. Listening to these musicians has definitely made me realize that I’m an ‘ old soul’ . Its helped me connect with my elders and makes a great tune while doing my homework. My all time favorites artists are The Monkees and The Beach Boys. ‘California Dreamin’ by the Beach Boys is the song I live for, it’s so good. I’m always looking for ‘new’ music to listen to. Hopefully, there will be some concerts nearby!”
