“I’ve been doing gymnastics for 14 years at Gymstrada. My best memories were going to Nationals in 2015 and 2016, it was really exciting and was overall a great experience. I ended up doing pretty well too! The hardest part of doing gymnastics was trying to have a constant positive attitude and not giving up because there were many times when I wanted to quit and give up everything but I learned to push through it. I decided to do gymnastics in college when my coach suggested I make a YouTube channel for college coaches to look at. That’s just what I decided to do to take the next step. I committed to Towson University in Maryland because when I went on my official visit in October, I could immediately see myself living there. I’m most excited to go there to take in the whole college experience. My favorite part about gymnastics is traveling a lot, meeting new people, and acquiring new skills and attending Towson gives me the opportunity to continue doing this. My favorite event is the floor routine because I can tumble a lot.”
