SENIOR AUDREY MCGOVERN is working on her Girl Scout Gold Award project that will leave an otdoor classroom for the students to enjoy. Her main goal was to give students an optional outlet for learning away from the traditional classroom.

“This project is just going to be a place for teachers to take their classes to go outside and do work. I know every time my teachers try and take my classes outside, everyone just sits on the ground and in the grass. So, I just wanted to make something that the students and teachers can use and that I would’ve wanted to use. It’s also to earn my Girl Scout Gold Award, a huge project that is the culmination of all the years I have been in girls scouts. I’m currently fundraising on Gofundme and I’ll be holding a Cash-o-la soon. I’m working with my uncle on the project, who is an architect, to make sure it’s done properly.”
