Falcon Forum: “what we think, we become”
Next week, the school will hold its first ever Falcon Forum, an SCA and PTSA sponsored event that plans to focus on students’ ability to apply what they learn in the classroom to real-world situations.
The forum will run from Monday, March 20 – Friday, March 24, with multiple presentations during each block in the auditorium.
The Forum’s goal, entitled What We Think, We Become, is to bring together bright minds to give insightful presentations that are idea-focused and that concentrate on a wide variety of subjects so as to foster learning, inspiration, and wonder, as well as provoke meaningful conversations.
Notable alumni, students, teachers, various clubs, and other motivational people within the community will give presentations about their personal inspirations, in order to then pass their knowledge on to students.
On Friday, Keynote speaker Phil Boyte, nationally known for his inspiring discussions with educators and students, will address transforming environment, how to become a change-maker, and methods in which one can find the many possibilities in the world around them.
