Humans of CHS: Mr. Diniaco

“Well I was born in New York. My dad died when I was younger, and my mom wanted me to move back to Greece. I lived in Greece from when I was 12-years-old until I was 45-years-old. I lived on the outskirts of Athens, near the beach. Greece was full of beaches. Restaurants aren’t on the boardwalk like here; they are on the beach and you actually sit on the sand. My first stop when I came back here was Williamsburg. From there I just wanted to go to the water, so that’s how I got to Virginia Beach. Because my significant other is a teacher, I decided to work as a sub. I’ve worked as a sub at many Virginia Beach schools, but I like this school the most because of the students. They are more well-behaved and just better kids overall.”
