FASHION STUDENTS PREPARE to walk the runway tomorrow at the “TRASHion” Show.

Saving the environment is a massive undertaking and the school’s Environmental Club and Fashion students are working together to do their part.

This Saturday, Feb.27, Lynnhaven Mall will host the “Lynnhaven TRASHion Show: Junk to Funk”. The event is sponsored by Lynnhaven River NOW, a locally based environmental organization, that has teamed up with area high schools, middle schools, and Lynnhaven Mall to create a runway fashion show featuring original designs made from recycled and discarded materials to create “trashion” outfits.

These “trashion” outfits will be entered from participating schools to compete for individual design prizes, but only one school will walk away with the Lynnhaven Principal’s Pride Award, an engraved trash can trophy.

The high school show will begin at 11 a.m. and the middle school show will begin at 3 p.m.
