Key Club teams with Red Cross to host annual blood drive

The Red Cross hosted a blood drive yesterday, in conjunction with the school’s the Key Club service organization, that was held in the back of the gym.  This is an annual event where students donate their blood in order to, hopefully, save a life.

As in years past, the student turnout was impressive.

“Due to recent hurricanes and natural disasters, the blood supply has been cut short, so the least we can do is donate blood. This is a lifesaving service that will help make a difference and change the lives of many,” Key Club sponsor Mrs. Faircloth said.
