ART STUDENTS RECENTLY participated in the Memory Project in which they created art for children from Haiti.

The school’s Art students recently participated in “The Memory Project”; a nonprofit that invites art teachers and their students to create portraits for youth around the world who have faced substantial challenges.

Art teachers Jessica Syzmanski and Caley Ehardt assisted their students in the development of the portraits that will be delivered to the children. This year Syzmanski and Ehardt’s students were tasked with creating art for children from Haiti that were devastated by the recent hurricane.

According to Syzmanski, the department will receive a video of the children receiving their portraits.
