Homecoming: making moves
SCA ANNOUNCES THIS years Homecoming theme, Board Games
SCA chose this year’s Homecoming theme as popular board games. And, keeping with the theme, each Class will have the opportunity to bring a board game to life in the school’s hallways.
Freshmen will play doctor with “Operation”, sophomores will explore the fascinating financial world with “Monopoly”, juniors get a peak at the world outside of high school with “Life”, and the senior class will be offered the opportunity to remember easier days with “Candy Land”.
The Homecoming schedule kicks off with hallway decorating on Friday afternoon, Oct. 7, followed by float decorating Monday, Oct. 10 through Friday,Oct. 14, along with a bonfire featuring booths from various clubs.
The festivities continue on Friday, Oct. 7 with a morning pep rally, followed by the Homecoming game against First Colonial High School and parade on Friday night, Oct. 14, at 6:30 p.m.
The eventful week will end with the Black & White themed Homecoming Dance in the gymnasium on Saturday, Oct. 15, in the gymnasium.
