Orchestra introduces parent night

Classroom lights were dimmed as parents, staff, and students were welcomed to the annual PTSA Open House; a night where parents are given the opportunity to meet their students’ teachers for the year.

In years past, attendees met in the auditorium to listen to the principal, PTSA president, and the Booster Club president speak about the upcoming year.  Now, as with most everything else in schools, these announcements have gone digital.

As an introduction into the evening ahead, the school’s Orchestra was given the opportunity to play the National Anthem live, while the ensemble was broadcast onto Promethean, Smart Boards, and televisions around the school.
