STUDENTS AND TEACHERS walked outside to chat with the police officers and their horses on Friday morning.

It is not uncommon for police officers and their horses to be seen patrolling the Oceanfront streets during the summer.  However, as fall approaches these officers are sent to other venues around the community to “watch over”.

So, when Biology teacher Michele Clark and her students glanced out the classroom window this morning, they were shocked to see these police officers and their horses roaming the senior parking lot.

“It’s not something you see every day, so we went outside to talk to the officers and see the horses,” Clark said. “It was pretty cool.”
